Our Story
Cedar Printing opened in 1983, located in the Pioneer Press Building in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. We moved to the Securian 401 Building in 2008, establishing ourselves in the downtown community as a reliable printing partner for individuals and businesses alike.

Cedar Printing sets itself apart by focusing on people, not technology. While we have many of the latest tools to efficiently do our work, we understand that printing is a specialized service that requires clear, careful communication between our staff and our customers. We're all here to do one thing: make each of your projects a success story.
Meet the Team
Tyler Hjeltness, Owner & General Manager
Tyler joined Cedar in 2016 with a decade of industry experience in Duluth, MN. After making himself at home within the downtown business community Tyler's drive for helping current and future customers get the most for their printing dollar resulted in his purchase of Cedar Printing in 2019. Having come from within, Tyler is focused on maintaining the decades long relationships between Cedar Printing and St. Paul while bringing new products, ideas, and efficiencies to the company.
Justin Kron, Production Manager
Justin joined the team in 2022, bringing his experience in technology and design to properly communicate with our army of computers and printers; planning the best way to bring your vision to life.​
Armand Clark, Print Specialist
Joining in 2025, Armand uses his artist's eye to ensure the quality of every print and handles any finishing touches such as binding, folds, and laminating.
